In the post https://www.physicsforums.com/threa...ion-of-quantum-mechanics.1059038/post-7055901 one "bound on the entropy of the probabilities of possible sets of histories" is disproved, and a slightly modified bound is proposed.
Can you tell me those two bounds, and how they differ?
Do you think that you or any of those mentioned (newer) chatbots could help with proving or disproving the proposed modified bound?

und etwas später:So I'm concluding this is genuinely a hard, research-level problem rather than something with a clean proof. Given that, I should focus on summarizing what I've actually established: in the commuting case where both initial and final states are diagonal in the measurement basis, I get a clean bound involving the purity parameters, with equality requiring both states to be nearly pure in a specific sense; and I'm partway through working out the general single-step case where only one state is diagnal.
This isn't quite fitting into a standard relative entropy form. I've spent enough effort chasing this particular algebraic route, so I should move toward writing up the response: presenting the induction approach for adding time steps, the algebraic approach using the $M_\alpha$ matrices, and the possibility of invoking quantum entropy inequalities like subadditivity and strong subadditivity, while being upfront that I don't have a complete proof for the fully general case. Before finalizing, let me consider one more angle involving quantum relative entropy and monotonicity for the general case.
