The thermal interpretation in a nutshell (Zweite Iteration)
1. The thermal interpretation is an interpretation of quantum physics
that unifies the classical and quantum intuition about the macroscopic
and microscopic aspects of our world.
2. The thermal interpretation is based on (nonrelativistic or
relativistic) quantum field theory, regarded as a complete theory.
3. The thermal interpretation is a single-world theory for the whole
universe.
4. The thermal interpretation views quantum physics as deterministic,
with its unitary dynamics defined by the time translations of the
Galilei or Poincare group.
5. The thermal interpretation views the N-point functions of
quantum field theory as the observables. Those with N=1 are local,
those with N>1 are nonlocal.
6. The thermal interpretation assigns to each system in the universe
the state obtained from the universal state by restriction to the
algebrra of observables of the system.
7. The thermal interpretation does not assume a classical/quantum
divide, but derives a movable Heisenberg cut from the dynamics.
8.The thermal interpretation gets rid of all subjective aspects by
taking knowledge to be a property of a physical model, not of agents
or minds.
9. The thermal interpretation views uncertainty as the remnants of the
influence of unmodeled details on the dynamics of a modeled subsystem.
10. The thermal interpretation does not assume a notion of measurements,
but derives this notion in the appropriate context.
11. The Born rule is derived from the discrete response principle (DRP),
which is (at present conjectured to be) a consequence of the
macroscopic and multistable nature of quantum detectors.
Ich weiß nicht, wer die intendierte Leserschaft ist. Aber jeder wird irgendeine Sichtweise auf die QM haben, in die er Ihre TI einsortiert. Was Sie nicht explizit schreiben, wo Sie versäumen zu erklären, wie es nicht aufzufassen ist, wo Sie meinen das folge doch aus dem Gesagten, überlassen Sie dem Leser, seinen Vorurteilen und seinen Missverständnissen. Ich bin ehrlich, das war mein größtes Problem, und vermutlich das anderer im physicsforum. Deswegen müssen die Einordnungen rein, die Abgrenzungen, die Gegensätze.

Strictly speaking, the thermal interpretation is not yet another interpretation of quantum mechanics but rather a research programme with the aim of demonstrating especially (11) for certain appropriate systems. Its success would make interpretations largely superfluous.
